HULL

_ Hull lamination/rolling

• The rolling of the hull has been consolidated in vacuum and post-treated in the furnace according to the rolling specifications; the entire process had been monitored with a sophisticated temperature monitoring system (thermo-hygrometer).

 • The hull core is in linear pvc material

(CORE CELL or AIREX R63).

_The external shell laminate of the hull: from the interior towards the exterior

• 2 X 1.156 g/m2 e-glass warp triaxial 90/±45°

•  40 mm core cell (A800/A600/P500)

•  890 g/m2 kevlar/e-glass hybrid fiber 0/90°

•  2 X 1156 g/m2 e-glass warp triaxial 90/±45°

•  290 g/m2 e-glass plain texture

• Carbon fibers have been used as filling layers and as local reinforcements in respect with the rolling plans.

_ Transverse structure

The rolling of the flat panels, bulkheads and longitudinals has been carried out on the same rolling plan; as specified in the designs, the core material used for the entire internal structure is AIREX C70.75 Pl.

_ Structural bulkheads of the hull

The pvc (AIREX C70) foam in the reticulated form has been used for the structural members.

A complete watertight bulkhead on the portside/starboard side at 2.5 m, on the portside at 5 m, around the engine room with watertight door at 22.63 m.

_ Chain plates

All the chain plates have been built in composite material and are incorporated to the hull structure. Bushings and pivots are made in stainless steel 2205 and applied stiffeners are made in carbon fiber.

DECKS AND CABINS

_ Deck and cabin rolling

The rolling of the deck and the cabins has been consolidated in vacuum and post-treated in an appropriate furnace according to the specifications of the rolling; the entire process had been monitored with a sophisticated temperature monitoring system (thermo-hygrometer).

_Deck rolling: from the exterior towards the interior

• 1 X be 831 g/m2 a 0/90°

• 2 X 1,156 g/m2 E-GLASS WARP TRIAXIAL 90/±45°

• 25 Mm AIREX c70.75 Pl

• 1 X 1,156 g/m2 E-GLASS WARP TRIAXIAL 90/±45°

• 1 X E 800 g/m2 a ±45°

_Cabin rolling: from the exterior towards the interior

•  1 X 1,156 g/m2 E-GLASS WARP TRIAXIAL 0/±45°

• 1 X 1,156 g/m2 E-GLASS WARP TRIAXIAL 90/±45°

• 40 mm AIREX C70.75 Pl

• 1 X 1,156 g/m2 E-GLASS WARP TRIAXIAL 90/±45°

• 1 X 1,156 g/m2 E-GLASS WARP TRIAXIAL 0/±45°

• Carbon fibers have been used as filling layers and as local reinforcements, which is in respect with the rolling plans.

_ The bow beam

• The cross beam is of semi-elliptical shape (600x400 mm section and 11000 mm length) and is rolled with glass and fiber.

_ Bowsprit – compression beam

• The vessel is equipped with a bowsprit in composite material with a total length of 900 mm; in correspondence with the code zero constraints, forestay and forestay sail, the structure has been adequately reinforced with carbon fiber.
